Speedy Blupi / Mods

Modding "Speedy Blupi" means one or more of the following actions:

sound (WAV or MIDI) files in the installation directory are modified
graphics (BMP) files in the installation directory are modified
Levels (BLP) files are modified. Sometimes all the levels are replaced by the new ones (main hub, world hubs, words)
EXE file is modified (disassembling / EXE file hexadecimal editing)

Speedy Eggbert 2 - Vas709 Mod is a modified version of Speedy Eggbert 2 game. It includes 8 levels in all worlds, the final level, multiplayer missions, and replay missions. The game also includes new blocks, elements, buttons, backgrounds, and sounds. It is the final version. ^[1] ^[2]

Vas709 Mod - Special Edition

The Special Edition mod is a short version for the Vas709 Mod. The game includes fewer levels than in the final version. Sound effects and graphical designs remain unchanged. If you don't want to play the long version, you can download the short one by clicking the download button below. ^[1] ^[2]

Speedy Eggbert - The Eggventure is an unfinished modified version of Speedy Eggbert 1 game. Currently, it includes 8 Dream levels. It also includes new graphical designs. Some old ones (like keys, doors, and sound effects) from the Vas709 Mod were added in The Eggventure mod.^[1] ^[2]

Speedy Blupi for Windows Phone levels ported to Speedy Blupi for Windows

There exists a conversion script written in Python.

These levels will be impossible to play on an unmodified game EXE file due to the conflicting block IDs.

Hardcore

Hardcore is basically a modified version of the Speedy Eggbert which makes it harder.

Restoring dream blocks in Speedy Blupi 2

This mod restores dream blocks in Speedy Blupi 2.With this mod you should be able teo play any Speedy Blupi 1 level in Speedy Blupi 2.

Instructions: Drop the exe file to the installation directory. Drop OBJECTQ.BLP into the image16 folder.

Speedy Blupi 2 - remastered by Jesse Savoie

Some of the changes:

All sprite sheets are evenly spaced. Makes it easier to create texture mods.
Almost all textures are 16-bit color now. (I assume everyone's computers can handle it, unless you're still using Windows 95 or something.)
BMP, MID, WAV, and XCH files are properly named. No more BLP files except a few in the data folder.
Dream blocks no longer change to kids blocks in SB2.
Fixed music #1 and #7 so there's no long silence at the end.
Fixed some visual glitches and animation errors.
Press F7 for x4 speed and F8 for x8 speed.
Windowed resolution is 640x480 instead of 640x477.
Removed CD requirement.

I haven't 100% finished it yet. There's still a few things I'd like to improve, but I wanted to release this version now, because I want to know everyone's thoughts on it. Some people have different opinions on what should be "fixed" and what should be left as it is. (For example, the unavoidable bomb in SB1 mechanic level 2.)

Images ends with ".bmp", not ".blp".

Sounds ends with ".wav", not ".blp".

Music files ends with ".midi", not ".blp".

jummy: to remove the cd check, change offset 4f6(for SB1) or 506 (for SB2) from 75 to eb

Sprites in BLP (BMP) files are on a square grid

every frame of blupi's animation in the mod is sorted by internal ID, so a lot of animations are already in the proper order as well here's blupi000 from the mod as a transparent png
